Winter-school

In the first week after the semester holidays the classes 5D and 5B felt like English pupils. During this week we were taught by three native speakers from England. At the beginning Jon, who called himself "sexy Jon", Kelvyn and Jeff offered us different topics from which we could choose two. These topics were: culture, drama, movie and magazine.

Every day we spent two intensive lessons on our chosen topics and the other four lessons we learned grammar, played fun games and talked a lot in English.

We first had some communication problems and almost spoke with hands and feet. In the middle of the week, however, we got into it and felt part of the English school system. Another great thing of the Winter-school was that we were not taught maths, neither in German nor in English.
